Were laying the foundation for massive scale, and this role will shape the future of our core backend infrastructure to power products across consumer and partner experiences.

The Revi Role

Were looking for a seasoned and forward-thinking Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend services that power Revis core applications. Youll own API development, distributed systems, and database design while collaborating closely with Product and Frontend teams. Youll bring an AI-first mindset , leveraging AI coding and testing tools to accelerate development, improve test coverage, and ship with higher quality.

What Youll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices in Python using Django (including Django Admin) and FastAPI
• Optimize performance across distributed systems and relational databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL)
• Lead backend architecture for critical roadmap initiatives, including AI-assisted tooling, payments, and reporting
• Ensure reliability, maintainability, and observability across backend systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Frontend teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Champion AI-driven coding practices, using tools for code generation, test automation, and faster prototyping
• Drive CI / CD best practices, test coverage, and deployment quality across environments
• Guide infrastructure evolution on AWS (ECS / Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Mentor junior engineers, review code, and help set strong technical standards
