Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Infusion Hematology Oncology Clinic position requiring a CT or compact RN license and ONS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an Outpatient Clinic specializing in Hematology and Oncology Infusion
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Patient ratio is approximately 1 : 6 in the infusion clinic
  • Short term acute care, Level I Trauma Center environment
  • Epic is used for charting
  • Weekend shifts required as needed
  • Floating to other areas as required
  • Administer infusions and provide care to hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient setting
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Royal blue scrubs are required
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) can be auto-approved; more than 7 days requires approval
  • Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay
  • Returning employees must have been gone for a minimum of 2 years to be considered as a traveler
  • Flu vaccination is required with no declinations accepted
  • COVID vaccine and booster required unless a religious or medical exemption applies
  • Parking is available at a cost
  • Team environment within a large academic medical center

    • Requirements

  • Active CT or compact RN license, or eligibility for a pending license
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
  • Prior outpatient infusion experience required
  • BLS and ONS certifications required
  • Experience in large trauma center settings is required
  • Hematology experience preferred
