Technical Program Manager - Remote

Symetra has a superb opportunity to join our team as a Technical Program Manager!

About the role

The Technical Program Manager is accountable for the planning and execution of medium-complexity technical programs that span technical teams and domains. As a TPM, you will work closely with Product Owner, Engineering team and other stakeholders to coordinate the delivery across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases and reliable production performance, including active involvement in testing, production support, and on-call issues resolution. Y ou will ensure that all non-functional requirements (such as reliability, scalability, security, etc.) are documented, incorporated into plans, tracked, and executed appropriately. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, excellent program management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward common business goals.

What you'll do

• Serve as a point of contact for production issues, ensuring timely triage and resolution.
• Collaborate with support and engineering teams to investigate root causes and implement fixes.
• Participate in functional, regression, and UAT testing to ensure product quality.
• Support automation initiatives and continuous integration efforts.
• Manage end-to-end planning and execution of complex, cross-functional technical programs, from initial concept through delivery.
• Monitor program health, identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Work with teams to clarify goals and deliverables, bring data to planning and prioritization.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, facilitating alignment and ensuring seamless integration of deliverables.
• Coordinate post-launch activities, including monitoring adoption, collecting feedback, and driving follow-up actions to enhance outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives, promotes equity, and reflects Symetra's commitment to a culture of belonging.

Compensation

Salary Range : $113,700 - $189,400 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
