Enterprise Account Executive

Tray.ai is the creator of Merlin Agent Builder the fastest way to build and deploy high-value AI agents without constraints. Built on our composable AI integration platform, it combines connectivity, data integration, governance, and scalability so enterprises can run AI agents across their entire stack.

We're solving one of the biggest challenges in AI : how to move beyond isolated AI features to orchestrated AI that works everywhere it's needed. Our customers use the Tray platform to integrate and automate their most critical processes, deploy production-ready agents in weeks instead of months, and keep governance and security under control at scale.

Your Mission

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you'll drive strategic pipeline growth and develop winning sales strategies for US-based enterprise customers. Working collaboratively across teams, you'll craft compelling value propositions that showcase how AI-enabled automation transforms businesses when powered by Tray's platform.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll own the full sales cyclefrom building robust pipeline and executing new customer acquisition strategies to managing and expanding your own book of business. You'll be responsible for both landing new enterprise accounts and driving growth within existing customer relationships.

What You Will Do

Drive pipeline growth and new customer acquisition Proactively build and manage a robust sales pipeline while executing strategic approaches to land new enterprise accounts

Own the full sales cycle Navigate complex enterprise deals from initial discovery through close, delivering compelling value propositions that demonstrate how AI-enabled automation transforms business operations

Manage and expand your book of business Develop strategic account plans that drive both retention and expansion, identifying growth opportunities within existing customer relationships

Collaborate cross-functionally Partner with internal teams to craft tailored solutions and ensure customers realize maximum value from the Tray platform

Consistently exceed targets Leverage your proven track record in SaaS sales to meet and surpass quota expectations

About You

3+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience Proven track record of exceeding quota while navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with C-suite and technical buyers

Technical acumen and credibility Ability to understand technical requirements, engage confidently with engineering and IT leaders, and articulate how AI-enabled automation solves complex business challenges

Cross-functional communication skills Demonstrated success translating technical capabilities into business value for diverse audiences, from line-of-business executives to technical decision-makers

Strategic account management expertise Track record of managing and growing enterprise accounts, consistently driving both retention and expansion revenue year over year

Entrepreneurial mindset Energized by building and executing sales strategies in a scaling environment, with the creativity and resourcefulness to win in competitive deals

Consultative selling approach Skilled at discovery, identifying customer pain points, and positioning solutions that create genuine business impact

Location

Tray.ai is a remote-first work force, but we will be prioritizing applications of candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Salary

The on target total compensation for this role is $280,000-$300,000 annually.

Our salary range is based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and location of the role, and are one part of many other compensation, benefit and reward opportunities we provide, including stock options.

Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. The range above is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles and recognize that the person we hire may be less or more experienced than this job description as posted. For this reason, the actual salary may vary from the estimate provided above.
