Field Density Technician, Ace Saginaw Paving

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Field Density Technician to work at our Ace- Saginaw location. The Field Density Technician tests materials and assists in maintaining or modifying aggregate gradations to meet customers' demands, using moderately complex testing methods and equipment.

No experience is needed, this is an entry-level position that will allow you to gain on-the-job training.

The Density Technician is involved with the initial set-up of large asphalt compactors, making necessary adjustments to the compactors and rolling patterns, and monitoring density through daily paving operations using Pavement Quality Indicators.

The Field Density Tech will also have the opportunity to attend Ferris Construction Institute after the training period to complete the following certifications :

• Density Certification
• Aggregate Certification
• Loose HMA sample certification
