Behavior Technician

Position Summary :

Join our compassionate and dynamic team at Astro ABA as a Behavior Technician ! We are looking for dedicated individuals to provide one-on-one support to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their homes. As a crucial part of our team, you will implement treatment plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We offer flexible part-time hours that fit your schedule.

Responsibilities :

Provide individualized 1 : 1 ABA therapy in clients' homes or community settings.

Execute behavior intervention plans developed by your supervising BCBA.

Accurately collect and document data regarding client progress and behavior.

Engage in regular collaboration with BCBAs, parents, and team members.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.

Maintain respectful and professional communication with families.

Ensure a safe environment while promoting skill development for each child.

Requirements :

Active RBT certification through the BACB is required.

High school diploma or equivalent is required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred).

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
