Job Summary
The Lube Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services on a variety of vehicles.
- Conduct tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire services.
- Inspect and top off fluid levels, including coolant, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and report findings to the service team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with dealership and OSHA standards.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, such as battery checks and replacements.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns professionally.
- Document all services performed accurately and in accordance with dealership procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar automotive role is preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate.Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.Ability to use basic tools and diagnostic equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Preferred Skills
ASE certification or willingness to pursue certification is a plus.Familiarity with Chevrolet vehicles and service protocols.Benefits
