Responsibilities Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting Night shifts are from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Every other weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled No on-call responsibilities Patient care may involve floating within the same discipline across local campuses Use of EPIC EMR system is required Travelers may be assigned to support Stepdown, Med / Surg, and PCU units as needed Collaboration within an interdisciplinary care team is expected Orientation consists of 16 hours Holiday coverage required—must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving) if scheduled Limit of 1 day request off during specified late November and late December periods Local travelers within 50 miles are accepted at a reduced rate First-time travelers are not accepted; prior travel contract required Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required At least 2 years of prior ICU experience is required Minimum of one completed travel nursing contract required Experience with EPIC EMR required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610652.
