Who we are : Halcyon was formed in 2021 by a team of cyber industry veterans focused on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers. We are a remote-native, distributed global team and welcome applicants from anywhere.

Halcyon is seeking our first Content Strategist — a builder who can shape and lead our content strategy from the ground up. This role fuels demand generation, product marketing, and thought leadership , aligned to the cybersecurity buyer journey. We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution : guiding big-picture editorial planning while also writing crisp, compelling content across formats.

What You’ll Do

• Develop & Lead Content Strategy — Build and evolve a content strategy that aligns with marketing goals, product positioning, and key audience needs across industries and segments.
• Plan & Manage Editorial Calendar — Own the content roadmap to support launches, campaigns, events, and thought leadership; identify content gaps and opportunities by monitoring industry news, ransomware trends, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally — Partner with product marketing, demand gen, sales, researchers, and executives to ensure accuracy, alignment, and impact.
• Create High-Value Content — Produce and edit content spanning whitepapers, blogs, case studies, solution briefs, landing pages, emails, video scripts, and social posts.
• Drive SEO & Performance — Partner with digital marketing to optimize content for search visibility, UX, and conversion.
• Measure & Optimize — Define KPIs, track performance, and use insights to refine strategy and execution over time.

What You Bring

Compensation Range : $150,000 – $180,000 annually

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of base compensation. Actual amount may differ based on experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and equity.
