Job descriptionGuide, coach, and develop team members in alignment with company values and HR policies. Promote and uphold company values and management principles within the department. Manage productivity hours and costs; take corrective action when necessary. Support and participate in company initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and Production Systems. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 1-3 years of related supervisory or operational experience. Strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to lead and develop teams to achieve productivity and performance goals. Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications. Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred. Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Role Purpose Statement
We are seeking a dynamic, people-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. The Transportation Supervisor will oversee and motivate a team responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence by monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Main Accountabilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Organize, staff, and direct the transportation team to meet operational goals and delivery timelines.
- Conduct daily team meetings to communicate priorities and address challenges.
- Schedule and manage staff to achieve labor productivity and control overtime costs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP.
- Document and review departmental processes to identify and implement improvements.
- Guarantee on-time and accurate catering and delivery for all flights.
- Monitor adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
