Per Diem Pharmacist - Pharmacy - Per Diem (evening & weekend)

Working alongside some of the city's most experienced pharmacists, you will benefit from mentorship with the best minds in medicine, within an environment of unparalleled shared learning. Under close supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and / or Pharmacist, performs preparation of medications, clerical duties and maintenance of supplies in the satellite Pharmacy Unit. This is a non-professional position. You will prepare batches of sterile and non-sterile products according to a recipe prepared by a Pharmacist. Reconstitutes solutions, manufactures stock prepares and suspensions, and re-packages medication when needed.

This is a per diem (Rotational)-including a minimum of 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month position at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, Westchester County, NY.

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Intern License
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Experience in an approved NYPH pharmacy-training program or at least one-year work experience.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
