With its enterprise-wide focus on Consumer, Small Business, and Institutional Payments, U.S. Bank is seeking a visionary and results-driven executive to lead strategic capital prioritization and strategic initiative delivery across the Payments business. This role will report to senior leadership and serve as a key architect in ensuring that capital expenditures (CapEx) are aligned with enterprise growth objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to develop and execute a strategic roadmap that ensures investment decisions are data-driven, customer-centric, and aligned with long-term business value. They will also lead a strategic program management team which will provide governance structure and reporting frameworks to ensure that key capital priorities are delivered on time and on budget. This leader will collaborate closely with the Strategic Investment Committee (SIC), Corporate Payments, Merchant Payments, and Treasury Payments teams to drive transformation and interconnected growth across client segments. They will also partner closely with PCS GMs, product teams, and technology to drive operational excellence in project delivery. The role requires a strong blend of strategic planning, financial acumen, technology awareness, and stakeholder engagement to deliver best-in-class investment governance and execution.
