Macdonald and Company are partnered with an entrepreneurial real estate investment firm focused on industrial, IOS, and retail assets to appoint an Asset Management Associate, who will support the performance of their growing portfolio.

The Role

The Asset Management Associate will join a small, entrepreneurial real estate investment firm focused on industrial, IOS, and retail assets. This role will oversee a portfolio of single-tenant properties in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of assigned assets, including leasing, tenant relations, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Track critical lease dates, renewals, and capital events to optimize portfolio performance.
• Assist with dispositions, refinancings, and other transactional activity.
• Review property-level financials, budgets, and operating results; identify variances and recommend solutions.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to support asset strategy.
• Coordinate with property managers, brokers, and internal teams to execute business plans.
