Resource Specialist Professional (RSP) Teacher

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced RSP Teacher that is available for the 2025/2026 school year.

Requirements:

• Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild/Moderate)
• At least one year of RSP teaching experience with students with a variety of disabilities, including students with behavior disorders and other learning and cognitive delays.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions, differentiation, and accommodations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for student growth and inclusive education
• At least one year of RSP teaching experience with students with a variety of disabilities, including students with behavior disorders and other learning and cognitive delays.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Job Description:

• Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location

• Contract through the school year – 35 to 40 hours per week
• Contract follows the academic district calendar

As a RSP Teacher, you will:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reporting
• Support students’ social-emotional development and classroom integration
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and strategies to promote academic success

Salary:

• $2,170 – $2,450 per week
