Job Responsibilities Customer Support Specialist
- Serve as the primary client liaison for all inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Manage and process client paperwork, including new account applications, transfers, and service requests, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Maintain and update accurate client records within the CRM system and other financial platforms.
- Facilitate the smooth onboarding process for new clients and handle updates to existing client information.
- Monitor client account activity to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
- Ensure strict compliance by verifying that all client communications and documentation meet regulatory and firm standards.
- Collaborate effectively with financial advisors and team members, contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications for a Customer Support Specialist
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or a related field.Proven experience of 2+ years in financial services or a dedicated client service role (preferred).Exceptional organizational skills for managing documentation and operational workflows.Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional client interaction and team collaboration.Technical proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite and specialized CRM systems.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.Possession of FINRA Series 7 and / or 66 licenses (preferred) or the expressed willingness to obtain them.Benefits for Customer Support Specialist
