County Board Chief Of Staff

Washington County, located in West Bend, has an excellent opportunity as County Board Chief of Staff. In this position you are responsible for, under direction of the County Board Chair, managing and coordinating the administrative and legislative services provided by the Office of the County Board Chair; to include providing research and recommendations to the County Board on legislative matters. Qualified candidates must possess :

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in public or business administration, management, planning, communications, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of responsible professional work experience in administrative, programmatic, legislative, policy, or procedural research, analysis, evaluation, or planning, preferably in the public sector.
• A masters degree in an area listed above may substitute for one year of the required work experience.

Salary Range : $100,885.61 - $134,147.21; Pay based on experience.
