Pay Information

$2,200 to $2,303 per week

About The Position

Perform routine MRI and MRA procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

Assist physicians during diagnostic or interventional MRI procedures, maintaining sterile fields and supporting procedural requirements.

Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Conduct advanced imaging exams , including head, cardiac, prostate, and breast MRI studies.

Review patient medical histories and confirm appropriate imaging protocols.

Ensure adherence to all MRI safety standards, including screening for contraindications and monitoring patients during scans.

Utilize EPIC EMR to document imaging data, patient information, and procedural notes accurately.

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure efficient patient throughput and quality care delivery.

Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns.

Follow radiation safety, HIPAA, and infection control regulations.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience :

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology program .

Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience performing diagnostic and interventional exams.

Proficient in advanced MR imaging of the head, cardiac, prostate, and breast.

Licenses & Certifications :

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) – required.

One of the following – required :

ARRT (MR) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

ARMRIT – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
