Salary : $41 - $50 per hour

About Qualicare and the Role

At Qualicare Home Health, we pride ourselves on providing patient-centered care that promotes recovery and independence at home. We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team in San Ramon. Working under the supervision of a licensed PT, you will deliver individualized therapy treatments and assist clients in achieving their mobility and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement physical therapy programs established by the supervising PT
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and safety education
  • Observe and report patient responses and progress to the PT
  • Reinforce patient and caregiver education regarding home exercises and adaptive equipment use
  • Document all treatments accurately and promptly in EMR (WellSky)
  • Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure quality outcomes
  • Follow established infection control and safety procedures during in-home visits

    • Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted California PTA license
  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (home health or outpatient preferred)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation and valid California drivers license
  • Excellent communication, time management, and documentation skills
  • EMR proficiency preferred (WellSky or similar)
