Specializing in VizRT products and workflows, we have over 30 years of industry experience in the conception, production and successful delivery of full turnkey and bespoke on-air graphics solutions across all media platforms.

The Role :

As our production requirements continue to expand across the US, we’re seeking an experienced Graphics Operator to ensure the exceptional quality of onsite delivering that our clients have been accustomed to. You’ll be working closely with our talented team across creative, technical and operational departments to test, maintain and deliver exceptional on air results for our clients.

This role is full time, 40 hours per week, in our Denver office, or remote working arrangements. You will be required to have flexibility with non-traditional hours and the ability to travel domestically to support project needs. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000.

What you will do :

  • Create Viz Trio show meeting editorial requirements in line with established style guides and processes
  • Perform quality checks on applications before and after live production deployment
  • Have a deep understanding of Viz troubleshooting including engine configuration, data connectivity, drive connections, image databases
  • Setting up and breaking down all graphic equipment within production workflows
  • Work closely with directors, camera operators and producers to pre-build graphics and execute effectively on-air, including input with camera operators on show looks to provide live camera blocking
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure a quality visual experience for the audience
  • Understanding of Viz Tracking Hub and Studio Manager to support virtual graphics operation
  • Read, follow and execute all relevant tasks outlined in a live broadcast rundown
  • Follow along with live developments, working quickly to match relevant graphics with the on-air conversation as the become available
  • Move quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast paced broadcast environment

Who you are :

  • At least 5 years experience operating graphics software, Viz Trio preferred
  • Extensive experience with Virtual Graphics operating
  • Must have experience working in a live control room, sports broadcast preferred
  • Ability to train and support freelancers and other back up crew, as required
  • Adaptable to production requirements, willing to lend a hand to multiple aspects of basic production operations
  • Able to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of information simultaneously whilst operating live graphics
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to work early morning, evening, overnight hours, weekends and holidays to meet production requirements

  • Graphics software - Viz, Chyron
  • G-Suite
  • Adobe Creative Suite
