AB Staffing is looking for experience SELPA School Counselors for the upcoming 2025 / 2026 school year.

Requirements :

• Valid license / certification from the state of California that grants legal authority to provide school counseling, psychological counseling services, or other types of counseling services.
• Experience with special education services for students with disabilities, preschool, and school-aged populations in a teaching / school guidance or counseling position is preferred.
• Must have experience with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 plans, focusing on academic, career, and social-emotional development.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and / or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
