Job descriptionInvolved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards Drives technical vision and influences product roadmap and vision Implement large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects Leads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level design Supervise the work of cross-functional groups of engineers, including offshore associates Directs root cause analysis of critical business and production issues Documents testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvements Influence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactively Supports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being met Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems 7+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development 7+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable & performing Web Applications 5+ years of experience with Open Source technologies 4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must 2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture 4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must 2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline Solid Experience on Apex, Triggers, Lightning components and flows 4-5 years of development experience Experience maintaining Salesforce.com in a complex environment Knowledgeable of Salesforce.com architecture and API You have a strong understanding of flows Experience with CI / CD and deployment techniques in Salesforce Possess an expert level of knowledge of a CRM Sales and Customer Service functionality and integrations to external systems Experience with Security Model in Salesforce Thorough understanding of SaaS data models, design considerations, and connected web services Be flexible with changing priorities and comfortable working independently Manage heavy workloads and projects, many on a time-sensitive basis while still maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail Salesforce Administrator certification is required. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required. Salesforce Platform Developer II is nice to have. Use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications Write coding solutions using key Salesforce core programing languages (Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, RestAPIs) Use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications WMB SalesTech initiative Work with tech lead and implment, debug, test and deploy business features Three tech leads with senior engineers and a couple of junior engineers Sunnyvale, CA Yes Hybrid (2 days per week) Please note that candidates who will be working in Bentonville, AR, Reston, VA or some Texas locations must have a VendorSAFE background check completed. - The Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce.
- SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap.
- Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.
