Crouse’s Addiction Treatment team at Commonwealth provides a comprehensive system of assessment and inpatient treatment services for individuals with substance-use disorders by integrating physical, mental and spiritual healthcare practices for patients and families. The Addiction Treatment team is hiring an Addiction Treatment Counselor / Therapist.
Schedule : Full-Time Days, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Pay Range : $24.00 - $27.30 / hour
Addiction Treatment Counselor / Therapist Position Responsibilities :
- Performs assessments which include the identification of cultural differences in planning for patient care.
- Provides person-centered treatment to a diverse patient caseload, including individual and group counseling
- Incorporates knowledge of evidence-based and promising practices into all facets of interaction with patients.
- Demonstrates competency in the provision of service.
- Formulates diagnostic impressions.
- Determines the appropriate level of care.
- Provides appropriate referrals for follow-up and facilitates referrals for needed services.
- Document client notes clearly, concisely and according to policy.
Addiction Treatment Counselor / Therapist Position Requirements :
Associate’s degree in a related field required.3 years of addiction counseling experience.Years of experience can be substituted with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.OASAS QHP or CASAC designation requiredBenefits Overview :
