Job description1 year of ACUTE CARE RN experience. Current BLS required Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire BSN is preferred If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (Theyll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, theyll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Registered Nurse - Med / Surg Neuro
RN - MED / SURG NEURO
Full-Time DAYS
Registered Nurse candidates for the Med / Surg Neuro Unit will have the following job responsibilities :
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
- Act as an advocate for patient safety.
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
