Description :
The pantry / prep cook’s primary function is to provide assistance to the cooks and chefs in the kitchen through preparation of food items for service. This may include following recipes to make salads and salad dressing; slicing, chopping or dicing food items; following previously developed recipes for hot or cold food items such as sandwiches, pizzas, etc. May work with burners, ovens, broilers / deep fryers, knives, slicers, and various other kitchen utensils / equipment. May clean various kitchen utensils, equipment, storage / pantry and other areas of the kitchen during shift. Performs other duties as assigned.
