A typical day as a seasonal, experienced tax professional means serving clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training youll need to be successful. It would be even better if you also have a bachelors degree in accounting or related field, CPA or enrolled agent certification, experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership), 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax, experience conducting virtual tax interviews, experience with tax planning and audit support, and sales and / or marketing experience.

What youll bring to the team includes conducting tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, generating business growth, increasing client retention, and offering additional products and services. You will also provide clients with IRS support, mentor and support teammates, and successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment. Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax, experience completing individual returns, and experience working in a fast-paced environment are also required. Comfort working with virtual tools video, phone and chat, and ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing are essential. Must meet IRS and applicable state requirements.

Pay range for this position is $11.00 - $80.00 / hr. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
