Responsibilities Position is in a 10-bed critical care unit of a hospital Cares for critically unstable medical / surgical patients with acute coronary syndrome and unstable hemodynamics Patient ratios are 2 : 1 or 1 : 1 based on acuity and RN experience Uses cardiac monitoring systems and advanced technological equipment 12-hour shifts available : 3x12 nights or 3x12 days (please specify preference) Requires working every other weekend Rotating holiday coverage is required Responsibilities focus on rapid recognition and treatment of life-threatening complications in critical patients Must be able to provide total patient care to those with unstable vital functions Work in a supportive environment with advanced monitoring and documentation tools Holiday and weekend coverage are mandatory as part of the role Requirements Active NH or compact state RN license with proof of residency Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU experience with telemetry nursing skills Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years Current BLS and ACLS certifications required CCRN certification preferred No local candidates accepted; must live more than 75 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629142.
