Production Scheduler / Planner

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Scheduler / Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for creating, tracking, and reporting the production schedule to meet shipping commitments. The ideal candidate will balance demand, supply, and capacity while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery and efficient production operations.

What You Will Do

• Analyze data from multiple systems and departments, including forecasts, sales orders, inventory, program milestones, lead times, and capacity.
• Assess demand versus supply using ERP systems, Excel, Access, and other standard tools.
• Match workload and equipment capacity with current and projected requirements.
• Develop, publish, and monitor production schedules in coordination with Procurement, Programs, Production, and Contract Manufacturers.
• Communicate schedule status, changes, and potential delays to Customer Service and other stakeholders.
• Identify and address excesses or gaps in capacity or demand; propose actionable solutions.
• Attend relevant meetings to gather real-time updates on assigned programs or production areas.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other planners as needed.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing production scheduling systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is $66,000 - $130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the companys performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
