Finance Manager

We're seeking a dynamic Finance Manager who will transform complex financial data into compelling business narratives that shape leadership decisions.

Key job responsibilities :

Develop comprehensive financial models and conduct strategic analyses that illuminate business performance and potential growth opportunities
Manage and report on headcount and operating expenses with precision and insight
Collaborate with business and finance leaders to deliver nuanced financial recommendations
Create ad-hoc analyses that provide clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial reporting and strategic planning

Basic qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field

6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

6+ years of building financial and operational reports / data sets that inform business decision-making experience

6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business

Based in Seattle, WA or Los Angeles, CA

Preferred qualifications :

MBA, or CPA

6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating / implementing an escalation plan experience

Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
