Bus Chaperone

Since 1994, SPORTIME has been proud to operate the finest tennis and sports facilities in New York State.

SPORTIME has 15 facility locations, most recently adding the iconic Port Washington Tennis Academy, now SPORTIME Port Washington, the largest indoor racket sports facility on Long Island.

SPORTIME currently offers 194 indoor and outdoor tennis courts and 70 pickleball courts, as well as rinks, turf, camps, gyms and more, at sites across Long Island, in NYC, in Westchester and in the NY Capital Region.

SPORTIME clubs are state-of-the-art, yet affordable, and feature the best tennis, sports and fitness facilities and programs, including the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and SPORTIME Volleyball Club).

SPORTIME clubs serve individuals of every age and athletic ability, 365 days a year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

To act in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Facilitate the transfer of the children from their respective schools to our buses. 2.

Facilitate the transfer of the children from our buses to their guardian. 3.

Emphasize safety at all times. 4.

Maintain order during trips to ensure safety. 5.

Report all incidents of misconduct in a timely manner. 6.

Ensure that all students are secured safely in their seat belts at all times while the vehicle is in operation. 7.

Account for all students who are on the bus roster. 8.

Maintain accurate attendance records.

SKILLS REQUIRED Common sense approach A track record or working with children Must have a warm, approachable personality Very good communication skills Ability to command the respect as an adult figure to the junior members.

SCHEDULE  :

• Part-time SALARY :  $17.00 / hour BENEFITS MEMBER BENEFITS -  SPORTIME employees are eligible to workout in our gyms, play multi-sports (tennis, basketball, hockey, etc.) and swim in the summer (at locations with pools).
