Job Overview
The role owns the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of the Groups consolidated financial statements and management reporting. It leads consolidation processes (including intercompany eliminations and standards compliance), provides analysis and supports planning and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Consolidation :
- Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
- Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
- Coordinate with various departments and subsidiaries to gather and validate financial data.
Reporting :
Prepare timely and accurateconsolidated financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and equity statements.
Develop and maintain internal management reports to support strategic decision-making.Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management and stakeholders.Compliance and Audit :
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for financial reporting.Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and address any audit findings.Implement and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.Process Improvement :
Identify opportunities for process improvements in the consolidation and reporting functions.Implement best practices and automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Provide training and support to finance teams on consolidation and reporting processes.Other Responsibilities :
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.Stay updated with industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting, preferably in a multinational corporation.Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards.Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.Proficiency in financial consolidation software and ERP systems (NetSuite preferable).Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
