The position :

We're seeking a NY licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with at least 4 years of experience post training to provide onsite visits in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The ideal candidate has experience providing psychopharmacology and psychotherapy services to children and adults. Candidates must be able to commute to Brooklyn and be comfortable with having children and adolescents as part of the caseload. Due to patient demand for appointments after school and business hours, applicants who are available evening and / or weekend hours are preferred. Candidates with experience or an interest in integrative medicine, nutrition and EMDR are welcomed. We can provide additional psychotherapy training.

Job Responsibilities :

• Psychiatric evaluations and follow up
• Psychopharmacology and Psychotherapy
• Work in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary staff
• Maintain appropriate notes in EMR
• Attend a monthly staff meeting, weekly supervision and professional development trainings

Qualifications :

Licensed in NYS as a PMHNP. Board Certification preferred.

Commitment to ongoing learning

4 years experience minimum required and more preferred

3 References required

Compensation :

The posted hourly rate is fee-for-service. Employer is also willing discuss salaried options.
