MAINTENANCE MILLWRIGHT (Full Time)

SUMMARY :

The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for maintenance of company machinery and leading a preventative maintenance program. Additional responsibilities including assembly / electrical work on Hydro-Mechanical Equipment such as Water Control / Dam Gates, Wire Rope, Hydraulic or Actuator driven Hoists.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
• Set up a preventative maintenance program and schedule work
• Use proper PPE for all tasks being performed
• Cleaning tools and equipment to prevent damage
• Cleaning work areas before and after shift
• Comply with safety practices and environmental standards (per EPA and OSHA regulations)
• Ability to run conduit using a hand bender and fittings
• Ability to read schematics and perform wiring accordingly
• Ability to assemble components using blueprints and written instructions
• Inspect, assemble, and align equipment parts such as gears, bearings, shafts, and motors for water control systems such as gates and hoists.
• Proper use of precision tooling such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Ability to work from scaffolding and other elevated settings
• Ability to operate overhead crane and jib crane

Pay : $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
