Job Summary : The Custodian is accountable for the store’s overall cleanliness and condition. S / he must maintain and clean the entire store, completing hourly walks and inspections. S / he must have a complete knowledge, proper handling, and storage of all cleaning equipment. Her / his main focus is to ensure all customers shop in a clean and safe environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Must possess the knowledge and training of how to effectively use and maintain all cleaning equipment.
• Effectively complete hourly and daily sweep logs.
• Ensure a clean, presentable, safe, and hazard free environment for all customers and employees.
• Must maintain all trash containers, spills, restrooms, and overall sales-floor.
• Perform all clean-up duties that are required in quickly and efficiently.
• Assist with actual store operation activities such as stocking shelves, assisting with customers, and cleaning, depending upon business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
