Position Title : Senior Medical Editor (Editor III)

Work Location : Remote (fully remote acceptable; hybrid optional if based near Mettawa, IL HQ - Tue-Thu in office)

Assignment Duration : 1 year contract (performance review at 3 months; extension possible beyond a year)

Work Schedule : Generally M-F, 8 / 9 am to 5 / 6 pm; would consider later shift as well; weekend work or OT requested occasionally

Work Arrangement : Remote

Position Summary : The Medical Fact Checker (Medical Writer III) is responsible for verifying the accuracy of medical claims in promotional and marketing materials, ensuring compliance and precision.

Background & Context :

• Contractor role primarily focused on fact checking medical claims against published sources for pharmaceutical marketing materials.
• Works within our organization's in-house advertising agency alongside medical writers and editors.
• Fast-paced environment, balancing multiple deadlines with accuracy and compliance.
• Remote-friendly role; minimal travel required.
