Job description

Project Specialist

Responsible for performing specialized cleaning and floor care tasks in a hospital or healthcare environment. Operates and maintains powered cleaning equipment, ensures proper sanitation, and supports environmental service projects. Adheres to infection control protocols and established procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for staff, visitors, and patients.

Pay : $16 / hour

What You'll Do

  • Operate and maintain powered cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and extractors, to strip, wax, polish, and deep clean floors.
  • Assist with various environmental services projects to support hospital cleanliness standards.
  • Follow all infection control protocols and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital cleanliness and safety policies.
  • Support team members and collaborate to complete assigned projects efficiently.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous healthcare or environmental services experience preferred, but training is provided
  • Ability to operate powered cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Dependable with consistent attendance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
