Job Title : Senior Product Manager (Manufacturing Products)

Location : Sycamore, IL (Hybrid : 4 days remote, 1 day in office)

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Compensation : $125,000–$145,000 base salary + 10% bonus

Overview : We are partnering with a privately owned manufacturing company with over 100 years of history to hire a Senior Product Manager. This role is ideal for candidates with experience managing industrial products sold through retail channels like Home Depot, Lowe's, or similar. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-user needs and be ready to take ownership of a multi-million-dollar product sector.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation to discontinuation.
• Develop product strategies based on market and competitive research.
• Analyze competitive landscape including pricing, features, and innovation.
• Define target audiences and create compelling value propositions.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to execute product marketing plans.
• Partner with sales and channel teams to meet annual sales goals.
• Implement pricing strategies across retail and distribution channels.
• Support sales teams with product training and line reviews.
• Ensure timely and profitable product launches.
• Resolve development roadblocks with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Conduct end-user research to identify pain points and inform product development.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and coordinate launch execution.
