Assistant Superintendent - Heavy Civil

Job Title : Assistant Superintendent – Civil Construction (Concrete, Earthwork & Utilities)

Overview :

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on heavy civil and site development projects. The ideal candidate has experience in grading, excavation, concrete, and underground utility work , and is eager to grow into a Superintendent role.

Responsibilities :

Assist the Superintendent in managing daily field activities and crew operations.

Help coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and equipment on-site.

Monitor work for safety, quality, and productivity.

Interpret plans, specifications, and project documents.

Track quantities, materials, and daily reports.

Support field layout and site logistics.

Communicate effectively with field staff, engineers, and project management.

Qualifications :

3+ years of field experience in civil construction or site development .

Background in earthwork, concrete, and utility installation preferred.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing and safety standards.

Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Eager to learn and advance within a growing company.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to job sites with company vehicle.
