Registered Nurse License in good standing with the South Dakota Board of Nursing\n\n2. Current CPR / BLS\n\n3. Professional Liability Protection MANDATORY\n\nEXPERIENCE : \n\n1. Minimum 2 years Outpatient Registered Nurse experience\n\n2. Supervisory experience preferred.\n\nSKILLS & ABILITY : \n\n1. High level of proficiency with Microsoft office applications, hospital software applications.\n\n2. Ability to think critically and multitask in a high-pressure situation.\n\n3. Ability to organize and manage an office setting and work with all.\n\n4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member; establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with members of the interdisciplinary team, and exercise judgment by participating in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care according to college standards.\n\n5. Behavior consistent with the clinic's Standards of Performance\n\nBASIC RESPONSIBILITIES : \n\n1. Performs according to the Standards of Professional Practice set out by the South Dakota Board of Nursing and in compliance with the policies, procedures and standards of the facility\n\n2. Accepts clinical responsibility and professional accountability for the care delivered to assigned patients.\n\n3. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team, fulfilling responsibilities as such.\n\n4. Complies with The Ethical Framework for Registered Nurses in South Dakota\n\n5. Provide direction, guidance, supervision\n\nSPECIFIC DUTIES : \n

• Conducting patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and symptom evaluations\n
• Administering medications, injections, IV therapies, and vaccinations as prescribed\n
• Assisting with minor procedures (e.g., wound care, biopsies, suture removal)\n
• Monitoring and managing patients with chronic illnesses (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)\n
• Providing pre- and post-procedure education for patients undergoing outpatient surgeries\n
• Teaching patients about medication management, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes\n
• Instructing patients on post-visit care, wound care, and rehabilitation exercises\n
• Working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and specialists to develop care plans\n
• Coordinating patient referrals to specialists, diagnostic tests, or home health services\n
• Documenting patient care accurately in electronic medical records\n
• Managing clinic workflows, including scheduling follow-ups and maintaining medical supplies\n
• Carry out all work assignments safely and be knowledgeable of and in compliance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations, as well as other legislation as applicable.\n\nMust comply with : \n\n1. Human Resource, Corporation, and Department Policies\n\n2. Must provide satisfactory Level 2 Background Check\n\n3.
