Arise / EFR is looking for a Regional Resource Development Housing Specialist
The Regional Resource Development Housing Specialist is responsible for assisting the RRDC Manager and Lead RRDS with managing and delivering the program objectives of conversion, repatriation, diversion, waiver administration and resource development. Meeting with potential waiver participants, determining waiver eligibility and offering individuals the choice of participation in the NHTD and TBI waivers and a choice of waiver Service Coordinators.
Job Summary :
The Regional Resource Development Housing Specialist is responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and approving NHTD and TBI waiver participant Service Plans that are developed by the waiver participant and the Service Coordinator and reviewing revised plans annually to monitor for quality and cost effectiveness. Providing training and technical assistance to Waiver Service Providers on the needs of individuals with disabilities and how to develop waiver Service Plans. Identify housing opportunities for individuals in need of housing necessary to transition to community life or to assist those waiver participants residing in the community who require housing support to continue living in the community.

Work location : Onondaga County - Syracuse, NY
Hours and days : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am -4 : 00pm (Tentative work from home schedule)
Compensation : $50,000 -$52,000 Annually
Non -Exempt; 40 hours per week, including one-hour paid lunch
Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
