Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer for John Deere in Milan, IL, you will:

• Work closely with product owners and product managers to understand requirements and priorities;
• Perform development and implementation of technical solutions to deliver on User Stories;
• Assist in resolution of IT technical issues in the product team;
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs;
• Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology.
• 5% domestic and international travel required. 50% remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite.

What Skills You Need

• 2 years of experience in develop applications in Agile methodology using Mainframe technology
• 2 years of experience in work on user stories involving design document creation, coding, and unit testing
• 2 years of experience involve in discussion with business/project team during sprint planning to review and validate the requirements
• 2 years of experience in participating in production releases for product rollouts

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field plus 2 years related experience.
