Job Overview
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. Duties and tasks vary; you will display an understanding of roles, processes, and procedures. You will perform moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in applying company policies and processes.
Base Pay Range
$79,800 – $178,100 per year.
Responsibilities
- Apply object-oriented design and data structures to develop software solutions.
- Use a systematic problem‑solving approach and communicate effectively to resolve issues.
- Design microservices and work with existing architecture.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with OCI values.
Basic Qualifications
- Computer Science fundamentals in object‑oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, etc.
- Systematic problem‑solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drive.
- Experience with microservice design patterns.
- Exhibits behaviors consistent with OCI values.
Required Skills
- BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
- 4+ years of software engineering or related experience.
- Knowledge of software architecture and ability to build enhancements within existing architecture.
