Contractor Direct District Manager
As Contractor Direct District Manager, you are responsible for generating profitable sales within the relevant channel through maintenance of existing customer base, development of new customers, and growing market share. Your success is critical for ensuring our competitive advantage by driving territory sales growth. The territory for this position is Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska. The candidate must live within this region. Kansas City or St. Louis strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Sales
- Achieve monthly sales budget
- Manage accurate forecast for responsible territory and channel
- Effectively execute a basket selling approach to become sole / primary supplier within our served product categories
- Maintain a detailed understanding of current and potential market share as well as competitive position within the territory
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers within key customers
- Test tooling and equipment to both potential and existing customers
- Responsible for market awareness regarding competitors in their territory
- Create strategies to gain market share
- Continuously develop customer focused selling and sales excellence skills
After Sales
Provide and coordinate technical support and training to customers as neededNurture relationships as business partners with both internal and external customersConduct comprehensive business reviews with customers and internally to ensure sales growth plan resultsMonitor consistency of diamond tool and equipment performance, escalate findings to Product Market Management teamAddress customer issues (internal and external) in a timely mannerAdministration
Maintain accurate CRMManage expense reports according to guidelines and in a timely fashionMaintain car stock reconciliation according to policyCommunicate with various internal departments as necessaryAs the ideal candidate you have :
3+ years' experience in Sales requiredBS in Business Admin or other applicable degree preferredProficiency in CRM, Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong Technical AbilityStrong knowledge of CFS (Customer Focused Sales)Expert level in product and application knowledge within relevant categoriesCompetency in full range of product categories to identify leads and create cross selling opportunitiesOvernight travel 60-75% of the time, most often (90%) by carMust reside in the territoryWhy join Husqvarna?
