Behavioral Health Coding Auditor

A company is looking for a Coding and Compliance Auditor-Behavioral Health.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform operational and financial audits of provider claims to identify overpayments and resolve root cause issues

Adjust claim payments and adjudicate claims according to established recovery guidelines

Identify potential recovery projects and report findings to management

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience

5+ years of experience in Behavioral Health claims processing or health insurance

At least 3 years of work related to medical billing and coding

CPC or CCS certification preferred

Successful completion of pre-employment background check
