Job Description

Join a high-precision aerospace and defense manufacturer in Solon, OH as a CMM Programmer on 1st Shift. In this key quality assurance role, you will inspect and validate high-tolerance machined parts using Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software, ensuring they meet exacting aerospace standards. This position is perfect for experienced professionals passionate about precision and quality.

Responsibilities :

  • Operate Zeiss CMM equipment for dimensional inspection
  • Write and modify Calypso programs to inspect complex parts
  • Approve or reject parts based on tight-tolerance aerospace specifications
  • Read blueprints and technical documentation to determine inspection criteria
  • Perform dimensional checks using micrometers, calipers, and gages

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control for machined parts
  • Skilled in operating Zeiss CMMs and programming in Calypso
  • Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Standards
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawings
