Shipping and Receiving Tech

Responsibilities :

• Verify accuracy of shipments against information on invoice or packing slip and purchase request / order
• Inspect shipments for damage and defects and record any discrepancies and or damage with shipments including documentation and photographs as required
• Open crates and other containers using appropriate tools to unpack items received
• Follow defined process to accurately record receipt of parts and material using digital or paper systems
• Manage the release of shipments to requestors
• Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries by hand, by use of handtruck, or by use of forklift
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles to prescribed safety procedures
• Perform job duties, including lifting and carrying using safe practices
• Ensure work area is maintained in a safe state
• Manage the parts Inventory Control tracking system
• Support kitting of parts as required
• Deliver and pickup parts as required
• Execute Monthly Building Safety Checks Other duties as assigned

Rate Range : Somewhere in the range of $20-$24, depending on experience.
