Power Platform Consultant

Interview Process : Interviews will be held in person. Candidates must beavailable for an in-person interview.

Duration : 1 year with desire for contractor to convert to fulltime with

SOMI in 1-2 years. At the time of conversion, candidate must be

authorized to work in the US without VISA sponsorship by the State of

Michigan.

Hybrid : Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY

OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.

Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to

relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow

the hybrid schedule)

This position provides IT systems support to the Department of

Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supporting the Department of

Attorney General (AG), Michigan State Housing Development Authority

(MSHDA), Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration

(MIOSHA), and Unemployment Insurance Appeals Commission (UIAC). This

position functions as an information technology professional,

participating in or overseeing a variety of analytical and programming

assignments that provide for the development, enhancement, and

maintenance of automated information systems. These applications may run

in network, client server, and / or web server environments. Duties

include problem analysis, programming, peer code review, unit / system

testing, testing related to Platform upgrades and Security updates, data

loading using tools, Integrations with other applications, executing

system tests, and managing software source control and versioning for

developed code. This position will perform new development,

enhancement, and maintenance work. This position will also require

working with other Agency Services team(s) and DTMB enterprise teams.

Skills :

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform development; including but

not limited to Microsoft Dynamics and Power Portal development (4-8

years)

and Structured Query Language (4-8 years)

solutions and alternatives for automated information technology
