Occupational Health and Wellness Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- AHMC

Alice Hyde Medical Center (AHMC) is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Occupational Health & Wellness team. This is a unique opportunity to provide meaningful care and contribute to the well-being of our workforce and community through occupational medicine!

Position Overview

In this role, you’ll work closely with a collaborative team to assess, diagnose, and treat adult patients (18+) for occupational illnesses and injuries. You will also conduct pre-placement and regulatory physicals, including DOT, Asbestos, and Haz-Mat evaluations, in accordance with hospital policies and federal / state guidelines.

Additionally, you will support AHMC employees by addressing acute physical conditions as directed by our Occupational Health clinicians.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct patient care within the Occupational Health setting
• Conduct physicals including DOT, Haz-Mat, and Asbestos evaluations
• Support the health and safety of AHMC employees through timely assessments and treatments
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, EEOC, and other relevant regulations
• Stay current in the field through continuing education and training opportunities
