Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems on various production equipment, including but not limited to, induction heating units, automated assembly lines, material handling systems, and finishing equipment.
- Execute repairs and rebuilds of electric motors, ensuring optimal performance.
- Work competently with low voltage and high voltage controls up to 480 volts.
- Lay out and install new conduit runs and design electrical cabinet layouts when required.
- Utilize Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx) for PLC troubleshooting and programming adjustments.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical components to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Champion workplace safety by strictly adhering to all company policies, including Lock Out / Tag Out procedures.
Recommended Qualifications :
Journeyman Electrician certification or a minimum of six years of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair low voltage and up to 480-volt electrical systems.Fundamental understanding and practical experience with PLC controls.Basic computer proficiency for work order entry and documentation.Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams effectively.Preferred Qualifications :
