State Licensed Specialty Pharmacist

A company is looking for a Specialty Staff Pharmacist - PRN.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and verify physician orders and ensure prescription accuracy before the end of each business day

Communicate with physicians and maintain direct communication with patients and caregivers regarding medication and care

Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure quality control of medications and patient education

Required Qualifications

One year of pharmacy experience preferred

Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy

Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of employment

Proficiency in managing and dispensing specialty medications

Ability to assume responsibilities in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
