As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your visible patrols and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment, while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid Class B Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement is necessary. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor the premises of a tech, media, and telecom location for any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or vendors while upholding site policies and protocols.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order at the location.
  • Remain alert and attentive while on duty to support a secure environment for employees and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must possess a valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
